We’re hugely excited to have just launched a new version of Bionic Books; this one introduces a Dashboard screen which shows helpful summaries of information such as currently unpaid invoices.  We’ve also added for the first time the concept of a company year and we also show totals such as sales and profit this year. You’ll also notice that we’ve continued the use of the blue and orange theme from just the profit and loss and balance sheet tabs across the whole application.  Hope you like it!

Lastly we have turbo charged Bionic Books in ways that will really help if you’re looking at your balance sheet or profit and loss information on a mobile or just on a low bandwidth connection.  We’ve made some better settings for caching and we’re now zipping up in the background all the content we send to you so you should see a noticeable improvement in the page loading times.  We’re always looking for further improvements too and we will next be upgrading to Google Web Toolkit 1.5 as soon as it is launched.
